-
Combining the knowledge I have obtained from the two laboratory I can perform the following:
-
Compressive test: determining the strength of concrete at different ages 7 and 28 days.
-
A nuclear gauge (Troxler): determining the densities and moisture of soil
-
Particle Size Distribution (sieve analysis): Determining the particle size distribution to understand the soil's composition.
-
Atterberg Limits Test: Assessing liquid limit, plastic limit, and plastic index to determine the soil's plasticity.
-
Modified Proctor Test: Evaluating the soil's maximum dry density (MDD) and optimum moisture content (OMC) after soil stabilization.
-
California Bearing Ratio (CBR) Test: Measuring the CBR of the stabilized soils to analyse their bearing capacity.
-
Unconfined Compression (UCS) Test: Measuring the shear strength of the stabilized soils.
-
-
Description:
-
The sieve analysis tests performed on the untreated material was in accordance with TMH 1 method A1, A5 and A6
-
Atterberg Limit test carried out was in accordance with TMH 1 method A2 and A3.
-
Modified proctor test carried out was in accordance with TMH 1 method A7.
-
California bearing ratio test of untreated soil & gravel was in accordance with TMH 1 method A8/ AASHTO.
-
Unconfined Compression The unconfined compression stress of stabilized soil, gravel and sand was in accordance with TMH 1 method A14.
-
Analysed soil, rock, and other geotechnical materials.
